VisionDrive Automotive was built on a belief: India deserves world-class automotive engineering shaped by real global experience, not just theory.
That belief comes from its founder, Sushanth. After earning his Automobile Engineering degree in India and an MSE in Automotive Systems from the University of Michigan, he joined the American Center for Mobility — working with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers on live vehicle validation. He then spent three years at Toyota R&D North America as AEB validation technical lead, contributing to five vehicle programs from early development through launch compliance. His work spanned Toyota Safety Sense, SAE L0–L5 benchmarking, high-speed proving-ground testing, and Lexus Teammate, and he holds Toyota R&D's Advanced Driver certification for high-speed evasive testing.
Returning to India, Sushanth founded VisionDrive Automotive to bring global-level validation thinking and deep systems understanding to the Indian automotive ecosystem — combining expertise in driving robots, DAQ systems, RTK GNSS, and ADAS validation to help build safer, smarter mobility.
